Why most cold outreach deserves the roast
Most connection requests and cold DMs get ignored for the same reason: they could have been sent to anyone. No specific detail, no real question, just a template with a name dropped in. The recipient pattern-matches that in about a second and moves on.

- What counts as a good LinkedIn connection request?
- One concrete, specific detail about the recipient — a real anecdote, not a compliment anyone could get — plus a question, all in 200 characters or less. Anything longer, or anything that could be copy-pasted to a stranger unchanged, is what tanks the score.
- Can I paste a message someone sent me?
- Yes — most people use this on cold DMs and invites they received, to see exactly where it goes wrong. It works just as well on a draft you're about to send yourself.
- Do you store what I paste?
- No. The message is sent to the grading model, and we keep only the resulting roast — never the raw text. That matters here especially, since a pasted DM often names someone else. If you unlock the full breakdown with your email, we store that email and the roast so we can send you a copy.
- Is it really free?
- Yes, no account needed. You get five roasts per day. Unlocking the full breakdown — every issue found, plus the rewritten version — costs an email address.
- What's the rewritten version based on?
- The same rule Forzza's outreach agent follows for every real message it drafts: a specific detail about the recipient, one clear ask, and nothing that reads like it was sent to a thousand people at once.
- Why does the score seem harsh?
- Because most cold outreach is bad, and a lenient grader wouldn't tell you anything useful. The bar is 'would this specific person reply,' not 'is this technically polite.'
